As Blast From the Pasts go, Charlie harks back to the Golden Age of MegaBabes; Statuesque, blonde, blue-eyed and bazooka-boobed – this girl has the lot in 'barrow-fulls.

The Bedford lass first staked her claim to MegaStardom in 1998.

A big help from Mother Nature and a extra dollop from a classical-trained plastic surgeon turned Charlie from a nervous 18-year-old glam wannabe into a living, breathing glam goddess.

Playboy came a-calling. TV shows beckoned and uber-advertising jobs across Europe followed.

It took Charlie to the pinnacle of her profession and she was one of the highest-paid models in the country.

And then stop.

Charlie stepped aside from the business, the lights dimmed, the studios shut shop and she hung up the tools of the trade (glass high-heels and a thong, if you must know).

2003 was a terrible time. Like many greats, she left at the top her game.

Gone but not forgotten.
