Dannii Minogue is dating a wee fella from Stevenage, according to reports.

So, there's hope for us all? Er, no not quite.

The pneumatically enhanced Minogue marvel has allegedly set up a hot date with none other than F1 whizz kid Lewis Hamilton. Which is the pits for us mere mortals.

The handsomely renumerated glorified go-kart racer has apparently become besotted with the mini Minogue after meeting her earlier this year and has bombarded the awesome Aussie with text messages.

And now the Sun reports the pair will hook up at the Monaco Grand Prix next month to see if they can get each other's engines revving. So to speak.

Dannii has a penchant for the pit lane after she was engaged to former fly boy Jacque Villeneuve in 1999.

According to the Sun, the pair met in Melbourne and, 'Lewis thought she was gorgeous and was really impressed with her knowledge of cars. He wanted to take her out for dinner that night but she had something on that she couldn’t cancel. He’s kept at it and she’s finally agreed to meet him for dinner at the Monaco Grand Prix.'

And she was reportedly quoted as saying: 'I think the guy is incredible. He is mostly perfect in every way, shape and form.’

Especially the bank account department.
