To paraphrase Chumbawumba, Pete Doherty's been locked up, but he got out again... And now he's playing a gig.
Which is nice for people living in Manchester and not so nice to customers of the Royal Albert Hall who recently received letters saying that Doherty's show there had been postoned 'due to unforeseen circumstances'.
Er, yeah, your headliner being in prison.
But having been behind bars he'll be back behind the mic on May 17 to appear with Babyshambles at the 02 Wireless Weekender at Manchester Academy.
Other acts in the line-up include Shortwave Set, We Are Scientists and The Young Knives.
And following up on a previous story, if you want to see Coldplay for free you need to get to their website and try and win tickets for the London warm-up on June 16.
Otherwise, you can buy tour tickets next week... but you'll also need plane tickets because they've only announced US dates so far.
