Moore makes Clint's day Sat, Mar 19, 2005 Daisy Kay If there’s one powerful Hollywood star you just don’t mess with, it’s Clint Eastwood. During the National Board of Review awards ceremony in New York, Clint casually said he’d “kill” Michael Moore if he ever tried to film him. "Michael Moore and I actually have a lot in common - we both appreciate living in a country where there's free expression. "But, Michael, if you ever show up at my front door with a camera - I'll kill you. I mean it," said Clint when he picked up a Special Filmmaking Achievement prize for Million Dollar Baby. Moore must have shifted uncomfortably in his seat as Eastwood, a Republican, fixed his stare on him. But Moore managed to laugh about it when he picked up a special Freedom of Expression gong for his anti-Bush documentary, reports the New York Daily News. Other award winners included Annette Bening for Best Actress in Being Julia, Jamie Foxx for Best Actor in Ray, Michael Mann for Best Director for Collateral and Finding Neverland for Best Film. Jeff Bridges accepted a Career Achievement Award and we’ve still got the Golden Globes to come this Sunday. Hurrah!
