Iron Man rocks. Indy's coming soon. The Dark Knight is steaming into view. But we want to see Unthinkable.
And we will... just not for a year or so. Variety reports that the thriller only starts shooting in Michigan on September 2. So why are we excited?
Well, it stars Samuel L Jackson, which is always a good thing. Samuel L will be playing a Special Forces black-ops interrogator. And that sounds like a good thing.
And he'll be investigating a major threat to the U S of A when a terrorist plants three nuclear bombs across the country and Samuel L – together with an as-yet-uncast female FBI agent – have two days to find them. And two days to work out how far they'll go to get the information.
Via the same source we've also learned that, due to a shooting schedule clash, Natalie Portman is no longer appearing in the new version of Wuthering Heights. That's slightly disappointing – Natalie Portman and bodices seem like two good reasons to sit through a film – but what the hell.
Samuel L getting all 24 on a terrorists more than makes up for it.
