10,000 BC

10,000 BC is the new flick from Roland 'master of disaster' Emmerich, yes he of Independence Day and The Day After Tommorow fame.

Now he is delving 10,000 days before Jesus in this all-new action epic. It looks like a cross between Mel Gibson's Apocalypto with a bit of Jurassic Park thrown in for good measure, or Jumanji if you're being cynical.

Anyhow, Emmerich knows how to handle action on a grand scale and some scenes look breathtaking.
