Gentlemen. Get your revenge in early and book tickets for Hellboy II and The Dark Knight.
Because give it a year or so and you'll probably have to sit through another Sex & The City movie.
With the first big screen adaptation raking in close to $150m in six weeks, and with a (we assume) Christmas DVD release pretty much guaranteed to what? at least treble that? the ball is already rolling on a second movie.
According to Variety, HBO has confirmed that a sequel in 'the early stages of development'. HBO's Michael Lombardo told reporters that: 'we're really heartened by the fans' enthusiasm. Absolutely, there is a lot of energy behind doing another SATC movie.'
You may be alright for a few more blockbusters though chaps. There's currently no deal in place, no greenlight and no script.
Although not have a script didn't seem to hamper the first one.
Apparently the key four are taking a 'cautious attitude' to the news, as they don't want to disappoint their loyal fans.
What about the loyal fans' other halves, eh? Where's the consideration for them?
