Quantum of Solace, the next James Bond film, is to be released earlier than expected.
Originally slated for a November release, the producers now reckon the film will hit the screens on October 31.
It is believed it will also take advantage of the void in quality films released around this time because of the lag after the recent writers' strike.
The 22nd film in the series sees a second outing for blond Bond, Daniel Craig and is a direct follow-on in storyline from the gritty 2006 effort, Casino Royale.
Starting in early January, filming for Quantum has obviously gone well with scenes in the can from Panama and the US as well as Pinewood studios shoots.
The good news for glam fans is that there is a healthy dose of lady flesh in the form of Olga Kurylenko and Brit bombshell, Gemma Arterton.
Filming has yet to be finished in locations in Chile, Austria and Italy.
