Cruise becomes Tourist

His name still makes heads turn in Hollywood

Tom Cruise may be a little squirt with dodgy beliefs but he still is the numero uno in Hollywood.

Mention his name next to a project and it’s worldwide headlines and big bucks.

The latest goss is connected to Tuesday’s news that he may have passed on spy thriller Edwin A Salt, giving the producers enough time to possibly rewrite it as Edwina Salt and sign up Angelina Jolie.

Well, clearing his schedule has meant he looks like signing up for French best-selling thriller, The Toursit. Similar-ish stories which might explain him passing the Salt, so to speak.

The plot centres on an American tourist (good title then) in Europe who is used by and Interpol agent. He’s set up and on the run – no doubt through the streets of Europe.

Touch of Patriot Games, touch of Bourne Supremacy, touch of Harrison Ford’s Frantic.

Touch of Tom Cruise means green backs will follow.
