Deception

Ewan McGregor and Hugh Jackman star in swish-looking erotic thriller Deception.

Is the mere presence of McGregor in this movie going to be a kiss of death?

Ewan's run of genre movies is hardly impressive; Stay, The Island, Eye of the Beholder, Nightwatch - all rubbish and we won't even start on Star Wars.

After being acted off the stage by Chiwetel Ejiofor in Othello and pretty much annoying everyone on his self-indulgent motorbike jaunt across Africa - Ewan has much to do to get us back onside.

We reserve judgement on this one until we've seen it with our own peepers.
