Indy – The Tease Begins

Spielberg. Indy. Ford. Blanchet. If four words ever added up to a must-see movie those are surely the ones?

This May sees the release of Indy IV or, Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull to give it its full, hoarding-filling name.

And you thought Quantum of Solace was a mouthful?

With the whip-cracking adventurer making his way back to the big screen, the revealing of the first snippets was only a matter of time... And it was 2pm yesterday to be precise. After a quick premiere on American breakfast TV, the trailer went live on the internet.

Things start with a quick recap on Indy's previous adventures before the (much older) Jones comes into view. With the sun behind him, that hat goes on, that familiar silhouette is cast... and then THAT music kicks in. Brilliant.

After that it gets frantic. The whip is clearly in evidence, Shia LaBeouf looks like he's going to be busy as, we assume, a young Indy protoge, and Cate Blanchett looks suitably icy as the villainess. But, even though we haven't a clue about the plot, we're desperate to see it now.

Something tells us the next three months are going to pass very slowly.
