Segal wants Siege 3

You have to admire Steven Seagal.

Well, if you didn’t, he’d probably kill you. With his thumb.

The ageing action hero hasn’t had much success of late outside of the straight-to-DVD market but he still has hopes and plans.

And those hopes and plans are Under Siege 3.

After saving a hijacked ship in the first one – a film we still love for its glorious gratuitous nudity – and then a train in number two, Steven thinks the time is right for special-ops-man-turned-cook Casey Ryback to save the day again.

Talking to MTV, Seagal said: ‘there are offers and we’re looking at them.’

So another boat? A second train? A really big car?

‘I personally want it to be something more modern,’ said Seagal. ‘I wouldn’t mind if it was about something more mystical or…maybe extraterrestrial in nature.

‘Some real government top secrets instead of just the typical.’

X Files meets Under Siege? Oh dear god, you know what this means, don’t you?
