Sienna: Dodging arrows

Sienna Miller’s meteoric rise continues as it has been confirmed she will star opposite Russell Crowe as Maid Marian in Ridley Scott’s forthcoming Robin Hood flick, Nottingham.

‘It's happening. I just found out. It's the most exciting news in the world.’ Sienna told the BBC.

Miller added that the Marian role was ‘as good as it gets’, saying: ‘I could not have a better part.’

Let’s not all get carried away by the thought of Sienna flouncing around, dodging arrows and plaiting her braids.

‘It's ridiculous. But there's this looming actors' strike, so it's not 100 per cent sure that it's going to be made, but it's looking pretty certain,’ she said.

Barely out of the tabloids after putting down the family dog that is Rhys Ifans, Miller is back to the day job - convincing the public that she can actually act.

After critics praised her turns in low budget fare Interview and Factory Girl, Miller has had further rave reviews for her portrayal of Dylan Thomas’ bisexual lover Caitlin MacNamara in The Edge of Love.

Sienna’s back on the market and at the top of her game. Besides the Welsh lesbo love scenes with Keira Knightley in Edge of Love, there’s also spandex trouser donning to look forward to in the forthcoming mega budget GI Joe and nudity in sixties love-in flick, Hippie Hippie Shake.

Will we ever be sick of Sienna? Not unless she dates us on the rebound for six months then dumps us unceremoniously, leaving us crying into our beers.
