Hard to imagine her label bosses being so philosophical though, following the Welsh songstress's announcement about illegal music downloads.

It is, in her dulcet-toned opinion, a way of 'making music a part of everyone's lives.'

Whoops. Probably not the official line.

The short soulful singer is currently at number two on a certain popular illegal download site which we couldn't possibly mention but, as she told ShortList, she's not bothered. Why?

Because it 'can go two ways. Some people think it creates illegal access, but I think the big wheel is round, y'know?'

'Somebody asked me the other day what I thought of illegal downloading, and I thought, “You know what? I don't care,'”because I think the majority are kids and as they get old and get more income they'll probably buy records.

'It basically gives people access, what's the harm in that?'

Over to the label bosses and the police on that one then...
