Glasto: Fire nearby
glastonbury fire

It's not been an easy ride for Glastonbury 2008.

After the speculation that Jay-Z's headlining status would stop people going, they nay-sayers seem to have been proved right.

The organisers are reported to still have some 3,000 tickets available at £155 apiece, and it looks like this will be the first Glastonbury for 15 years not to sell out.

However, you don't have to dig that deep into your pockets if you don't want to. According to the Mirror, there are tickets on eBay for just a tenner.

The doom and gloom doesn't end there. Glastonbury-goers were yesterday caught up in five-hour delays on the roads, following a fire in a scrapyard just a mile from the site.

Firefighters closed the major roads into Somerset as they tackled the blaze. Always a good move when you've got thousands of people travelling to the region.

Still, if you made it through all of that, there is at least one piece of good news. Franz Ferdinand have been added to Friday night's bill.

The Scottish rockers are due on the Park Stage at 10pm

Rumours are also flying – hardly surprisingly – that Beyonce will be joining Jay Z on stage on Saturday for Crazy In Love.

But will anybody be watching? That's the question...
