Preparations for Madonna’s next tour are near completion.
Madge’s most extravagant stage show ever will feature 3,500 items of clothing and jewellery worth over £1 million.
The ‘Sticky and Sweet’ tour hits the road at the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff tomorrow and sees the Queen of Pop bring an entourage of 250 people, 30 wardrobe trunks and outfits by 26 designers.
In typical elaborate fashion, Mrs Ritchie (for now) will perform a two hour set split into four diverse sections.
Gangster and 1920s art deco are portrayed in the ‘Pimp’ set, ‘Gypsy’ speaks for itself while the ‘Rave’ section is heavily influenced by the Far East.
Returning to her roots, Madonna incorporates an ‘Old School’ piece and pays tribute to where her hugely successful career all began.
Fifty year olds everywhere are impressed.
