Blabbermouth Noel Gallagher has a new Oasis album coming out and his famous gob is going into over-drive despite being laid up with broken ribs after being attacked by a fan.

The latest is that Noel actually likes Blur, well sort of – he quite likes Blur number, Beetlebum.

Speaking on his regular slot on the Russell Brand Radio 2 show he lauded the track as ‘a great tune.’

Perhaps mellowing in his old age, or the painkillers are messing with his noggin?

The injury-related respite is set to end prematurely, worryingly to an auditorium of baying Scousers. ‘(My ribs) are on the mend.

The next gig is in ten days in Liverpool. I'm not gonna be right for that, it takes another five weeks to heal up, but we've got to start that tour 'cause it'll be two years' work out the window!’ Noel told Brand.

New album Dig Out Your Soul is set for release a day before the UK tour starts in December 6th. A further sign that Gallagher should start taking hard drugs again is that Oasis are set to perform a gig with a choir.

'We are doing the Electric Proms, and we're doing it with the Crouch End Choir as well... there's 50 odd of them...because some of the songs on the album have got a 50-piece choir on them,’ said Noel.
