Brad: We want eight

It was the last time Brad Pitt was seen alone

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have six children. But it's not enough.

No, they want eight, according to Brad.

'I'll have two more by next year,' he told the press hoardes at the Venice Film Festival.

Well, if you were hitched to Angelina Jolie, wouldn't you want to practice conception as often as possible?

Brad and several of his brood – Including Maddox, now sporting a blue mohican – are in Venice to promote his new film, the Coen Brothers comedy Burn After Reading.

Angelina was expected to join them but remains in the South of France with the twins. And whichever children Brad hasn't packed.

Brad co-stars with George Clooney in the film and George was given a similar grilling about settling down.

'I'm so surprised to be asked that question,' he joked with reporters. 'I am getting married and having children today.'

'You can share mine with me,' said Brad.

And, let's face it, he's got more than enough to go round.
