Britney loses kids
A California judge has ordered Britney Spears to hand over custody of her two children to ex-husband Kevin Federline.
Judge Scott M. Gordon ruled that K-Fed would take custody of two-year-old Sean Preston and one-year-old Jayden James from Wednesday October 3, ‘until further order of the court’.
And friends had better keep a watchful eye on the star, as she’s reportedly contacted suicide help lines in recent weeks over fears she might lose her kids.
However, after so many chances, this latest twist could have easily been avoided.
Britney has repeatedly ignored requests by the judge to sort out her train wreck life.
She was ordered to go to drugs counselling and parenting classes, sign the judge’s order and finally, to obtain a valid Californian drivers license, but failed at every count.
So, ta-da! - she lost custody.
Perhaps Britney saw it coming, or maybe she was too out of it to care, but the troubled singer’s reaction to the news was suitably bizarre - she headed straight to the tanning salon.
According to the Evening Standard, a grinning Britney was spotted on her way to her favourite body baking spot and then reportedly ate dinner at Nobu in Malibu.
Perhaps someone should lower her Valium dose?
