Cobain's ashes missing
Coming soon to a car boot sale near you: Kurt Cobain's ashes. Possibly.
Quite where the ashes wll end up is not known.
What is known though is that the Nirvana singer's remains have gone missing.
Cobain's widow, the completely normal Courtney Love, kept the ashes – and a lock of his hair – in a bag shaped like a pink teddy-bear.
However, she, the bag, the hair and several thousand pounds worth of jewellery have gone missing from the Love residence – and, in a burst of unfortunate irony, Courtney is reportedly 'suicidal' over it.
'I can't believe anyone would take Kurt's ashes from me,' she said.
'I find it disgusting and right now I'm suicidal.
'If I don't get them back I don't know what I'll do.
'They were all I had left of my husband. I used to take them everywhere with me just so I could feel Kurt was still with me. Now it feels like I have lost him all over again.'
If anyone spots a pink teddy-shaped bag on eBay – or you're down the pub and someone offers you a good deal on a slightly dusty lock of dyed blonde hair – you might want to call the police.
