Britters: Early starter?

Remember the young Britney Spears? All cutesey, virginal, pure and… er, not quite according to a tell-all book from Britter’s dear old mom.

She began boozing at 13, had sex for the first time at 14, started taking drugs at 15... It may sound like a Craig David song but that’s what mother Lynne Spears is claiming and it all began when Britney joined the house of mouse and squeaky-clean TV show, the Mickey Mouse Club.

The Sun reports Lynne will tell of how Britney had sex with an 18-year-old American football jock at 14 and dabbled in drugs when she went to LA to record Baby One More Time.

The Sun says the revelations were leaked ahead of the publication of the memoir, titled Through the Storm.

And the biggest surprise (not) was, of course, that Britney WAS sleeping with teenage love Justin Timberlake despite them telling the world that they would wait until marriage and were virgins.

Oh the hypocrisy. We feel betrayed.

Currently on the comeback trail, Britney will have another go at opening the MYTV Music Video Awards. We’re pretty sure she won’t be as bad as her bloated, out of sync 2007 effort.
