Not fair girls

Gutted! Surely the only way to describe a statement released today from chart topping beauties Girls Aloud.

Rumours of a sixth member being recruited seem to have been dashed. Sarah, Kimberley, Cheryl, Nadine and Ging-whatsherface have denied the reports saying that the story is completely fabricated.

With their fifth album due out in November, stories had been circulating that the band were going to revamp their line up via a reality TV show (yes, another one). Yet 17 top 10 singles and three sold out arena tours in the space of six years, the feeling is not to try and fix something that isn’t broken.

Can’t we just say slightly damaged and take it from there?

Naturally we are bitterly disappointed having graciously volunteered to be part of the interview and audition panel and are quite rightly devastated that we will not be able to assist in the recruitment of a musically talented genius that will be of great benefit to the record industry and go on to be a household name in her own right.

Ok… permission to ogle denied....
