Despite how it sounds, Gore's Bioshock is not a sequel to An Inconvenient Truth.
The Gore in question is Pirates of the Caribbean director Gore Verbinski, who's just been handed a three-year deal at Universal Pictures, according to Variety.
And the director is currently at the studio working on a big screen adaptation of the successful (and excellent) videogame Bioshock.
And he won't be short of material for a sequel either. Game developers Take-Two have announced that their follow-up will be released next year.
Perhaps more exciting than that though – and certainly much, much prettier – is the news that Megan Gale will be donning the Wonder Woman gear after all.
The leggy Aussie lovely had been cast as Wonder Woman in Justice League of America but then we heard that filming had been suspended.
And we weren't happy.
Now we learn, thanks to Australia's Herald Sun, that we will get to see Megan spinning around in skimpy shorts after all.
And we're very happy.
Director George Miller was talking to the paper about casting Megan in the first place.
'She got the job because she blitzed her screen test. I mean, I had no idea she was so good,' he said. 'I didn't think she would be as good as she was.'
However, he also revealed that while the production won't now be filmed in Oz, shooting should resume offshore next year.
If it doesn't... well, how about a few pics of Megan Gale in the outfit?
