So England didn't qualify for Euro 08. But it's not all bad news – some of the side will still be in Europe this summer.

Because that's where Wayne and Colleen are tying the knot.

The Sun reveals that the chunky striker and his famous-for-being-Wayne's-girlfriend, er, girlfriend will be throwing a FOUR day wedding celebration in the South of France.

The cost of the nuptials? A mere three MILLION quid.

The couple are getting hitched on June 12, but guests – just 60 family and friends – will be marking the occasion from June 10-14.

Private jets will ferry everyone to the secret venue on the Cote D'Azur and guests include Ricky Hatton and several of the Manchester United team.

The party starts with a black and white themed ball and continues with a champagne lunch and a barbecue. Because you can take the boy out of Liverpool but you can't take Liverpool out of the boy.

'Coleen wanted to spread the event over a few days because people are travelling so far,' revealed a source.

Well yes. But only because you're holding it so far away, Colleen.

'Coleen and Wayne take regular holidays in the area, so they’re very familiar with the place.'

And all because England didn't qualify for Euro 08. Coincidence?
