Brad's baffled, Clooney's confused, Swinton's, er, surrounded by buffoons.
Why? The Coen Brothers new film, Burn After Reading.
Having secured gongs aplenty for No Country For Old Men, the writing/directing duo have gone in a different direction for their next, rather more amusing film.
According to MTV.com, the film concerns two gym employees – we're assuming that's Brad and George – attempting to sell the ill-gotten memoirs of a CIA agent. But it sounds like there's more to it than that.
'I don't even understand what it is,' laughed Clooney when pressed about the plot. 'We have no idea what we've done. The only thing I feel confident about is, as bad and goofy and dim as I am in the movie, Pitt might be dimmer.'
Swinton agreed. 'It's insane,' she added. 'I'm surrounded by buffoons!
'I'm married to John Malkovich and I'm having an affair with George Clooney, and I'm really angry about everything,' revealed Tilda.
As for her inspiration for the role, the serious Swinton had an unlikely role model. An unlikely slightly yellow role model.
'I look like Mrs. Krabappel in The Simpsons,' she revealed. 'I have this Krabappel hairdo.'
We want to see it. We want to see it now.
