Quite clearly fat, if not obese

Katie Green is fat. That, apparently, is the verdict of Premier Model Management, who signed the former shopgirl after she won the chance to be Wonderbra’s ‘real woman’ model.

Now the natural 30F Katie – do you need a minute to contemplate? – has quit the Wonderbra job rather than conform. ‘They got great publicity out of launching me as a 'real' curvy model,’ she told the News of the World.

‘Then I was told that I had to lose lots of weight and become like all the other girls on the catwalk or I was finished. What a joke.’

When Katie signed with Wonderbra, she was a healthy 10st 5lb and a size 12. Well, aside from those 30Fs. Did we mention those already?

But then Premier evidently suggested she lose two stone which was a surprise to Katie as Premier already represented the curves of Kelly Brook and Myleene Klass.

‘I was flabbergasted,’ said Katie. ‘Until then there had been nothing but praise for my curves.

‘I decided to walk away. It opened my eyes to the fashion industry and the pressure it puts on impressionable models to slim, slim, slim.’
