Lads, prepare for the worst – pop pixie Kylie Minogue may be hanging up her hot pants for a quieter life.

Since reuniting with old flame Olivier Martinez, the 39-year-old singer has told pals she wants to ‘focus on what is truly important’ by slowing down her busy workload.

According to a close friend of the petite Aussie, Kylie ‘wants to concentrate on seeing if she and Olivier can work things out, focus on herself - and even start a family. After the album, there'll possibly be a tour and the final additions she wants to make to Brand Kylie, that's really it,’ they told the Mail.

But don’t fret, as the source also says the ex-Neighbours star won’t be disappearing from our showbiz radar for good.

Instead, she’ll be juggling ‘behind the scenes on a few projects’ on top of spending some quality time with family and friends.

Speaking of which, with X Factor back on our screens and the lovely Dannii giving us a reason to tune into the cheese fest, we hear that Kylie will join her sis on the show.

Reports say the singer will join the judges for a one-off appearance, just like rambling Paula Abdul did last year.
