Mendes: nipple clampdown

We've always liked Calvin Klein ads.

The black and white photography. The breathy pretentious voice over. The scantily clad babes. What's not to like?

Well, according to Middle America, quite a lot.

But Middle America is clearly wrong. Why? Because they're clamping down on Eva Mendes' nipple.

Not literally, of course, but let us give you a minute to get that image from your mind.

The curvaceous Ms M is the naked star of CK's new advert for his latest scent, Secret Obsession.

The ad features Eva writhing around on her back, naked but for a sheet, her arm generally covering all the intimate bits. Apart, America claims, from one brief flash of nipple.

And having researched the video thoroughly, wewould have to concur. That's definitely a nipple. And a solitary nipple is enough to take the ad off broadcast television.

Happily, it's also enough to ensure that the ad can be seen all over the web. Several times.
