Well, they got him. Which is hardly surprising given he's the most famous person on the planet this week.
We're talking, of course, about Christian Bale who, following yesterday's report that the police wanted a word in his shell like, is back on the front pages today.
But then he should be used to sequels...
The rubber-clad star was arrested, questioned and released by London coppers following allegations that the actor had an altercation with his mother and sister at the Dorchester Hotel on Sunday.
According to reports, Bale was questioned for four hours over the incident but was not charged. The actor also released a statement denying that any assault took place.
'Christian Bale attended a police station to assist with an allegation made against him by his mother and sister. Mr Bale, who denies the allegation, co-operated throughout.'
According to Bale's sister, 'it's a family matter,' which probably comes as a surprise to all the police involved.
Bale's mother Jenny told the Sun: 'There was a family situation but the police are handling it and I cannot say any more. We didn’t call the police to the scene.'
So, they didn't call the police. The police clearly weren't that bothered as they let Bale attend the premiere and then arrested him.
Why are they bothering again? Hmm...Something's not right.
