Billie Piper. Up the duff and had enough.

Hurrah. Secret Diary of a Call Girl is coming back. And we trust you’ll appreciate the efforts Billie Piper and the team put into the new series.

The series is a favourite late night diversion at MegaStar Towers – we like it for the shots of London architecture and its social commentary – but the new one had a challenge to overcome.

As we’ve mentioned before, the strangely attractive actress is heavily pregnant at the moment and that’s a state that doesn’t make sex scenes particularly easy to film.

Especially when you’re eating for two.

Talking to the Radio Times, Billie explained that ‘being pregnant and filming scenes where you’re having to be sexually provocative — when all you want to do is sit in a corner and eat — that was hard for me.

‘“By the end it was really tricky, I was showing big time,’ she continued. ‘I wear tight clothes in the show, so it’s obvious. Plus I was eating like a horse!’

The series – which also sees Toyah Wilcox appear (hopefully not naked) as Belle’s mum – is now complete though, meaning Billie can concentrate on bringing up baby.

‘That’s a relief,’ she explained, ‘because it means I don’t have to think about my career.’

Although we somehow doubt she’ll have problems picking that up again in due course.
