Jessica Simpson is a lot of things; she officially possesses the best sauce shelf in the world (that’s boobs to you and me), she’s got a great bod, big blonde hair and lovely teeth - oh and she has a tremendously strong jaw.
Yes, many of these things are physical attributes.
But we don’t want to dwell on that too long… Sorry, just thinking about the rack again… because we want to tell you about her new music career.
Or rather, her new bombing music career.
It seems the all-American cheerleader is not winning over her new country and western audience as she made her live debut at the Country Thunder Festival in Twin Lakes, Wisconsin.
In fact she was booed. Have they no appreciation for those world-beating chesticles?
The 28-year-old was showcasing songs from her upcoming album as well as a few country classics wearing teeny-weeny shorts, a tight white t-shirt, cowboy boots and a cowboy hat. A bit like porn fancy dress, we suspect.
While taking on Willie Nelson's On the Road Again and Shania Twain's Who's Bed Have Your Boots Been Under? the crowd heckled and booed throughout, perhaps understanding they weren’t watching a genuine country singer star and perhaps viewing her as jumping on a rhinestone bandwagon.
Perhaps.
One onlooker told a local newspapepr the Kenosha News: ‘I just don't hear the country in her. I don't hear the twang. She's not good enough to be here.’
Jessica recently revealed she wants to make country music for ‘the rest’ of her life.
A few more performances like that and it might be sooner than she thinks.
