Keane release free single

Keane. Free for the, er, keen
keane

Keane are back this year with their third album.

And the piano-led British popsters are so convinced in the quality of their new music, they're giving the world a chance to hear some of it for free.

All this week, a new track called Spiralling will be available to download from www.keanemusic.com.

Come August 12 though, when it hits all the usual outlets, you'll have to pay.

Spiralling was written and produced by the band and big-haired lead singer Tom Chaplin has described it as 'a train of thought about human endeavour, built on an outrageous groove.'

Good to get that cleared up then.

The new album, Perfect Symmetry, will be released on 13 October  The first 'real' single, The Lovers Are Losing will be out  the week before.

But we expect you'll have to buy those. After all, there's confidence and then there's utter commercial suicide.
