Lily for Playboy

Leggy lovely Lily Cole is baring all for Playboy.

Bless her little cottons. And, indeed, the slightly longer cotton socks she’s wearing on the magazine’s cover.

The bad news? It’s the French edition. The good news? You can get to France for a quid as a foot passenger…

Despite our early panic – we thought they said Lily Allen, so you can imagine our relief – Lily will be featured in 14 pages of raunchy photos.

The mag’s fashion director Alex Aikiu has said that the feature and interview are ‘very intimate, very psychological.

‘For us, Playboy isn't Pamela Anderson. It doesn't matter how big your boobs are - it's about what's inside the woman.

‘It's all about being sweet and innocent.’

And you don’t get much more innocent than a 20-year old student best known for modelling M&S clothes.

Interestingly, M&S have no problem with the shoot. ‘She is a popular, high profile, model who is very much in demand, and this is one of the key reasons why we have chosen to work with her,’ announced a spokesperson.

‘It's entirely her own choice as to what other work she accepts and we would not wish to interfere with her career.’

However, The Sun reports that some Christian groups are in uproar as they feel the pictures are degrading to M&S.

Come on people. Show the girl some forgiveness…
