OK, we've been suggesting it might be so for a while but big-lipped sexy siren Scarlett Johansson is getting married – it's official.

The slinky saucepot was said to be 'thrilled' she is getting spliced to Canadian boyf, Ryan Reynolds.

Reynolds, who starred in Blade Trinity and Definitely Maybe is - in a hilarious twist of fate - filming a movie called The Proposal.

Oh, how we laughed until realising it was barely worth a titter.

After all, Johansson was being taken up the aisle and no, that’s not a euphemism nor a laughing matter.

Johansson is not scared to make bold moves and recently branched out into the music world. Her plinky-plonky mood album Anywhere I Lay My head is due out on May 20.

Scarlett is only 23 and considered by many in the glam game as a bit hot.
