The Wonder-brawl of Noel Gallagher being attacked on stage has taken a turn for the serious after the 47-year-old stage invader appeared in court charged with assault.
Daniel Sullivan from Pickering, Ontario was sent before the Beak after spending a night in the cells.
Noel – who is showing a media-friendly side these days – fell heavily on his monitor speaker when Sullivan rugby tackled him.
The Oasis star was taken to hospital after the show where he was examined for a suspected fractured rib and ligament damage.
The incident happed when the band were playing Morning Glory, midway through the band's headline set at a festival in Canada.
After a brief interlude, Oasis played six further songs including Don't Look Back In Anger and Wonderwall.
Sullivan was released and will appear in court again on October 24. He’s also been ordered to stay away from the band.
That was a health warning, we reckon.
