The Sun reports that Jose Mourinho has inked a deal with Italian giants Inter Milan and is looking to bring his own Special Ones to the San Siro.
Top of the list are his ex-players Frank Lampard and Didier Drogba, whom he hopes to bag as his first high profile signings for his new club.
The Italians have yet to make an official announcement but it’s thought Jose will take over from Roberto Mancini in the summer.
The news will no doubt pile the pressure on beleaguered Blues boss Avram Grant who could find himself out of a job this season. It may please some Chelsea fans but if they were to lose Lampard and Drogba it would be a hammer blow.
It’s believed that Chelsea will be having a ‘fire sale’ this summer and could dump many of their stars. Lampard and Drogba will be among the untouchables earmarked to stay. If they walk to Inter there could be some major restructuring at Stamford Bridge this summer.
Roman Abramovich’s house of Chelsea is on pretty solid ground but what a difference a week can make. If they crash out of the Champions League and lose to United in the league at home, Roman could be looking at a trophy, manager, player-less summer.
