With a massive week for Manchester United, Portuguese wing wizard Cristiano Ronaldo says that only at the end of the season can United’s success and legacy be measured.

Ronaldo will be looking to continue his world-beating form and give United the advantage in the Champions League with a victory over Barcelona at the Nou Camp on Wednesday.

‘I also think that this is the most talented team,’ said Ronaldo.

‘But you can only confirm this at the end of the season, by what was won.’

‘There is a lot of talent, I think that we are going along the right path.’

United also have a make-or-break tie at Stamford Bridge on Saturday against Chelsea. If he can inspire United to victory, they will be crowned Premier League champions for the second successive season.

There is some debate as to if this United team stacks up there with the great United sides of yore. Ronaldo believes the proof will be the summing up in the summer.

‘Game after game we have shown that we have a fantastic team, with a lot of talent and magnificent players, but at the end of the season we will be able to provide a definite answer if this team is the best Manchester United side of all time,

‘If we win the Champions League or the Premier League we will have a better idea.’

Best United side ever? Maybe so – few would argue against the fact that Cristiano Ronaldo is the greatest player to fly down the flank since George Best, maybe greater.
