Lamps: Off to Italy?

We’re all very fed up with this Cristiano Ronaldo business, should he stay, should he go. We do care but it doesn’t warrant yet another story.

So let’s concentrate on another Premier League star, no not lanky serial signing on fee reaper Peter Crouch, he’s off to Portsmouth.

Not the under achieving Andy Johnson who looks set to leave Goodison in an underwhelming move to Sunderland.

Nor Emmanuel Adebayor, who is being courted by Serie A giants AC Milan and La Liga big guns, Barcelona.

What about Didier Drogba? Jose Mourinho has continually expressed his interest in signing the temperamental Chelsea striker for his new look Inter Milan outfit. And how the Premier League would miss his tantrums and diving!

So who’s left? Shaun Wright Phillips? We did him earlier in the week; he could be joining Crouchy at Sandbanks, sorry Portsmouth.

That leaves? Carlos Quiroz to leave Old Trafford to become boss of Portugal – hold on he’s not a player is he, but that brings us back round to sodding Cristiano Ronaldo again, but if Quiroz leaves, surely Ronny won’t want to hang around without the man he has described as a father figure.

That’s about it then, aren’t we forgetting someone?
