The popular pop dancing duo Janette Manrara (37) and Aljaž Škorjanec (31) have given all the credit to the BBC Strictly Come Dancing show to provide them with the right job the right time. Yes! This hit series has rescued them in every possible way.

Janette Manrara has made the revelation about her marriage to the pro dancing professional Aljaž Škorjanec and thanked Lockdown period for bringing them closer together again!

During a chat, the star dancers admitted that they thought they would have to sacrifice their love life when she decided to return to the US and Aljaž to his country, Slovenia. They were trying for a long-distance relationship, but everything turned up when the BBC Latin and ballroom dancing competition offered them both a job proposal. It simply meant they got the opportunity to stay together in the UK.

It’s such an amazing thing that one phone call from the hit series has given the duo stability in the job and revamp almost a broken relationship. It all started when the couple met at a dancing studio in 2009 and got married on three formal occasions in 2017, the first one in London, the second in Janette’s hometown Miami, and the last one in Aljaž‘s native in Slovenia. Ever Since participating Strictly in 2013, the star couple has won the highest fan following.

The love story of this happily married couple is the reverse of the “Strictly Curse,” as many past participants have blamed this platform for their break-ups.

Star dancers Neil and Katya Jones separated after Katya was caught snogging comedian Seann Walsh, a participant on the show in 2018. A year before, Karen Hauer segregated from husband Kevin Clifton after reports of agitation on the set. He is now in an affair with 2018 series winner Stacey Dooley, who was his fellow. Previous show’s favourite Brendan Cole was the first to be cursed, splitting from partner Camilla Dallerup in 2004 after he was paired with newscaster Natasha Kaplinsky.

Though their show mates have come across unexpected failure, Janette and Aljaž grew a sturdy relationship and got hitched in 2017. Starting from their being engaged to get married, everything happened during being on Strictly. For them, it’s the biggest blessing of their lives. That’s why they owe everything to this hit show.

Being professional dancers abandoned at home during the lockdown period was a very unnatural experience for the pair. However, the couple was lucky amid few TV stars who appeared on the screens. The dedicated producers managed to combine a series despite the pandemic situation. Janette reached the final with co-star Heavy, while Aljaž paired with Radio 1’s Clara Amfo was thrown out in the sixth week.

Aljaž feels fortunate to get back everything normal, be it his dancing career or wife. They both made their comeback to this dance competition later this year. The couple has used the platform for keeping themselves busy between series. Along with the yearly strictly tour, the couple hosts their stage performance, dancing shows in theatres across the UK.

Being 4ft 11in, Janette could rarely dance with 6ft Aljaž. The height difference was the main obstruction! With backing dancers’ assistance, they regularly perform from classic films, like Flashdance, Dirty Dancing, Cabaret, and many more. Miami pocket rocket revealed that in the difficult times of pandemic, It was a tough task! Everyone was fully committed to the show.

And last week, the celebrity couple got the exciting news of their appearing on the ninth series. They perceive them as the luckiest for getting the job on the biggest Dancing show in the UK. You will be amazed knowing that the couple is the show’s longest-experienced dancers for eight years straight away. And they also confessed that they don’t have any intention to quit. Janette says that they are grateful that much, so they want to be part of this show for as long as they keep dancing.
